German soprano Diana Damrau serves up a Christmas feast of carols and classics in her new album with the NDR Radiophilharmonie, My Christmas.
My Christmas spans traditional German carols like Stille Nacht (Silent Night) and Fröhliche Weihnacht (Merry Christmas) to music from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Mozart’s Mass in C Minor. Damrau is joined by the NDR Radiophilharmonie under the batons of Riccardo Minasi and Richard Whilds, along with two choirs, the Knabenchor Hannover and Norddeutscher Figuralchor.
